Tips & Tricks to Bring in Spring!

Tips & Tricks to Bring in Spring

Spring has officially sprung! As the warmer weather approaches, it's crucial to aid your home in change to make sure everything is running smoothly after those cold, harsh winter weather!

  1. Clean The Gutters: The fall & wintertime can leave your gutters full of leaves and other outside debris. Be sure to clear gutters to make way for April Showers! Another benefit to cleaning out your gutters is discovering any leaks that may need to be repaired.
  2. Clean Screens & Windows: Snowy weather can cause underlying damage to windows - especially in New England! In order to enjoy fresh spring air in your home, be sure that your windows and screens are intact, and double-check the sealant to make sure there aren't any leaks!
  3. Declutter, Dust, Destress: Studies show that cluttered and disorganized space in your home can cause heightened stress not to mention clutter can hold onto dust. Especially for those that WFH should dust and reorganize your space to bring in good energy.
  4. Think Green & Clean: Certain cleaning products can have dangerous toxins and chemicals. To bring in freshness this spring season, be sure to use safe and eco-friendly products. Instead of chemical-filled solutions, opt for white distilled vinegar!
  5. Inspect the A/C Unit: In order to function properly, it is important to maintain your air conditioning unit every season. As warmer temperatures roll in, the A/C will be a necessity! Properly inspecting the unit will ensure that air will actually be coming out cool & saving you money in the long run.
  6. Replace Air Filters: Replacing furnace and HVAC filters is one of the most important and overlooked parts of spring cleaning. In fact, replacing a standard filter with a more robust one with a high MERV rating will help keep you healthier as you enter spring.
